Blank Greeting Card - Festooning - Mixed Media Collage

Artwork Details:
This mixed media collage is part of a honeybee collection completed in 2023 inspired of my latest hobby – beekeeping! Did you know that honeybees will “festoon” or create a lacework scaffolding with their bodies between comb or frames by holding onto each other’s legs? It’s how they span distances that one bee alone cannot reach. Other bees will use their sisters’ body scaffolding as a framework from which they build comb. Included in this piece is the Vincent Van Gogh quote, “Great things are done by a series of small things brought together.”

Greeting Card Details:
This listing is for an 5x7 greeting card of my original mixed media collage artwork described above. Blank inside. Printed on high quality, 80 lb bond, 100% post-consumer recycled white matte cardstock with archival ink. Envelope is as pictured, craft-paper brown, complementing the style and texture of the paper collage.

Shipping Details:
Greeting cards will be packaged in a protective cellophane sleeve, and shipped to you in a sturdy cardboard mailer.

Orders are shipped First Class via USPS.
