This collage is a part of a collection designed for my 2021 wall calendar.  This calendar is unique in that each collage in the collection connects with the others in some way.  If the viewer looks carefully, the images fit together to tell a story of interwoven lives and connection between humans, the landscape, and its other inhabitants. Each piece also works as a stand-alone image.  This collage depicts an autumn scene of a woman cutting down a dead tree with a chainsaw and a cat chasing a squirrel up a fir tree.  A farm setting is in the background including a stream, field, and barn.  The words, “season,” “journey,” and “home” are incorporated into the piece.
