June Hitting Rocks With Papa

June Hitting Rocks With Papa

As the mother of a little boy, there seem to be few things as satisfying for him as skipping, hitting, or throwing rocks into a water body.  He can literally spend hours doing it and dreaming up new ways to launch the stone into the water.  And his absolute favorite companion for this activity is his papa. There’s so much value in this passtime – father/son bonding, creativity, silliness, and physical coordination.  But perhaps the biggest value is the simple act of spending time together focused on the same goal for a sustained period of time.  It’s confidence, friendship, and memory building all in one.  Messages incorporated into this image say “empowering children” and “what they believe  is what they will become”.
