Nature Art Camp
Do your kids love getting messy, making art, and exploring nature? If so, this is the art camp for your 5-10 year old! Nature Art Camp will run from 8:30am to 2:00pm during the week of July 19-23, 2021. Professional mixed media artist Jordan Kim and early childhood specialist Anna Diem invite your children into a week of creative play, exploration of the natural sciences, social/emotional learning, and self-discovery. Each project and activity will tie back into our connection to the natural world and each other.
We are offering reduced rates for sibling campers this year ($100 discount for siblings!). Camp fee includes all necessary supplies. To eliminate food sharing, campers are asked to bring their own snacks and lunches.
Covid-19 precautions and protocols: Campers will have temperature checks and health screenings (questions) upon arrival. Anyone that is not feeling well or is experiencing covid symptoms is asked to stay home. Everyone will be required to wear a mask during the day. Most of our time will be spent outdoors. When indoors we will be spaced at least 3′ apart per current ODE/OHA recommendations. When unmasked during meals, we will be outdoors and spaced >6 feet apart. Campers will sanitize or clean hands frequently and supplies will not be shared. Camp will be limited to a maximum of 12 campers.

Nature Art Camp
Hi! I’m Jordan Kim and if you choose to take a Found & Rewound class, I will be your instructor. I do not have a teaching degree, but I do have a lot of experience educating the public.
What are my credentials? Well, I have a BS in biology and two minors – one in chemistry and one in studio art. I also have a masters degree in Environmental Management. Needless to say, I love to learn. And I like to share this love of learning with others.
Like many, my path has been a winding one. I worked as an ecologist for over 15 years. In this career path, I often taught the public about how best to manage their land so as to minimize imacts on natural resources. I love sharing my love and fascination with the natural world.
Now I have the absolute joy of creating classes that combine these loves with my passion for the arts and creativity. I hope to see you in class!
