Classes and Workshops
Classes During COVID-19 Pandemic
I believe we need creativity and connection more than ever. We need to support one another with our innate gifts. So while I cannot lead you through classes and retreats in-person, I have and will continue to INCREASE the number of classes I offer online. My virtual classes are *live* (not pre-recorded) and are designed to support children and adults as we move through this challenging time together.
I lead art classes, workshops, retreats and other creative experiences for just about anyone! Whether you are looking for an experience for kids or adults, for fun or personal growth, a week-long camp or a 1-hour class, a private team-building event or a lesson in public schools – there’s something for everyone!
All Classes Include:
- Professional artistic guidance
- Natural elements or themes
- Mixed media experiences
- Opportunities to connect
- A playful, inquisitive tone
- An emphasis on the journey
- An invitation to express oneself
- Competently organized steps

Snowman Collage Class
If you are looking for a fun activity for your children to do this winter season, check out this sweet little snow person project!
I lead you step-by-step through the process and your should be able to find all the supplies you need just by looking around the house!
A really great picture book with beautiful illustrations that complements this project perfectly is “Snowmen at Night” By Caralyn Buehner. If you’d like to see local Whitson Elementary School teacher Ms. Cunningham read his story for you
Kids Nature Art Play Date!
3:00-4:30 pm PST
Looking for ways to foster creativity and connection for your children during this challenging time? Allow me to guide your 5-10 year old though an online, 1.5-hour creative project designed to explore our connections to each other and the natural world.
Every Wednesday we will meet virtually for a creative play date to do a unique art project that incorporates social/emotional learning and lessons on the natural world. Most projects will have some extension component that can be done independently once class is over. Attendees will not know what the project is ahead of time, but can trust it to be a completely unique, fun, STEAM-type creative experience.
Connections Art Retreat From Home
Let yourself be guided through a process to reconnect with your intuitive wisdom, realign with the rhythms of the natural world, and learn how to anchor into creative flow.
Private Art Party!
How would you like me to lead a private art party for you? I can do that! I love leading birthday parties, corporate team building events, or simply a fun gathering of family and friends. I will work with you to create an event that meets your objectives, follows a theme, and gives everyone a chance to enjoy creative play.
Arts in Education Residencies
If you are a teacher or parent with students in the schools in the Columbia Gorge, your school may be able to hire me to do a residency! Contact Arts in Education of the Gorge to discuss residency options.
Hi! I’m Jordan Kim and if you choose to take a Found & Rewound class, I will be your instructor. My mission is to create art and experiences that inspire us to honor our connections to each other and the natural world.
I have a BS in biology and two minors – one in chemistry and one in studio art. I also have a masters degree in Environmental Management. Needless to say, I love to learn. I worked as an ecologist for over 15 years while I built my art business on the side.
You don’t have to take my word for it…
So much fun! I was quite reluctant to leave my first art prints but ultimately loved how freeing it was. Helped to foster more creativity and less attachment. Already excited about April!
Jordan, it’s so fabulous that you are offering these opportunities for women to create, collaborate, laugh and share in community! I’ve participated in both of your art nights now, and I’m recognizing more of my own creative process and feeling more free to express!
So. fun! Everyone had a really good time. Full value!! I love how accessible collage is, you could literally use anything and turn it into really fun colors, textures, art pieces. scrap mail is more valuable to me now… 🙂 Even just seeing how to make those prints- you don’t need to be really skilled to create very cool patterns and colors. I think everyone felt successful and in it together!
Thanks so much! Our kids certainly had a blast at nature Art Camp. We really appreciated getting the daily photos and emails summarizing their activities. They are already asking if they can go back next year!
