New Art for the Times

New Art for the Times

Hello friends,

I'm so excited to offer a big reveal of my new art collections today! I've made two of them for you - one to honor what is, and one to plant a seed for what will be. Making these pieces has been a way for me to capture some of the feelings that can be hard to express in words right now. My hope is that they do the same for you. All of it is valid and real.

So without further ado... here is a sneak peek of some of the new designs!

Pandemic Collection

The first collection is one of images from life in the pandemic. All of them are just simple moments that might not seem like much right now. But when looked at within the context of a global pandemic, they speak volumes about our resilience, our longing for connection, and the massive slow down to the pace of life that most of us experienced. I hope that they resonate with you in some way.

There are so many moments that we've witnessed in the last year that have been at once heartbreaking and heartwarming. I believe these are the moments that crack us open and instigate deep growth - both personally and as a society. We truly belong to each other. Ironically, this has been a time when our connections have been heightened.

Hugs Collection

The second collection is all about hugs. All the hugs we wish we could give and those that we did in the last year. Many of these images honor those cherished people in our lives that we cannot hug yet, but want to so badly it hurts. Some of these hugs are the ones that speak volumes without saying a word. My hope is that you can share these images with those you want to send a hug to and do it at least visually if not ohysically.

I've created group hugs, mom hugs, grandma hugs, and friend hugs of all kinds. As always, I tucked words and messages of connection, love, and friendship into each one.

To check out both collections in their entirety, please head over to the gallery.

My deepest hope is that these creations support you in some way. Even if it's small. I would love to know that my artwork has helped you send love or meaningful connection with those you love. We belong to each other. And I am so grateful for all you are doing every day to keep moving forward in this wild world. Keep on keeping on.

With love and gratitude,

Jordan
