I'm glowing

I'm glowing

Hello friends! Wow. Wow. Wow. I am seriously GLOWING over here. My heart is full and I'm feeling that happy-tired that comes from giving your all to something totally that lights you up. Why?

I just held my first retreat.

And it was amazing. There were 11 fantastic participants, 1 amazing acupuncturist, 7 meaningful exercises, (tied to 7 powerful colors, chakras, planets, days of the week, notes in the scale, etc.), and countless connections made. Were there things that could have gone better? Of course. Did I wish I had time for more? YES! And yet it all unfolded just exactly the way it was meant to unfold.

We were provided with a DREAMY location overlooking the Columbia River, surrounded and supported by a beautiful forest. Eleven creative souls gathered to open themselves up to allow their intuitive wisdom to flow. I felt (and still feel) overwhelmed with gratitude to these lovely people - both for listening to the invitation to participate, and for trusting me to guide them through the process. It was at once humbling and empowering.

"The intuitive mind is a sacred gift, and the rational mind is a faithful servant. We have created a society that honors the servant and has forgotten the gift." —Albert Einstein

Throughout the day, I shared many of my own techniques for tapping into my intuition through time in nature and engaging in creative play. It was so inspiring to watch as we all worked through the moments of discomfort and vulnerability to arrive at a place of harmony and synchronicity. My belief that our minds, bodies and souls want us to tune in and reconnect was only reaffirmed by the ease with which most participants began to settle into a peaceful state.

It's pretty clear from this artwork that they were feeling it! You can SEE the flow of energy in their work. And this is why I am glowing. How beautiful it was and is to get to help people find their creative spark again and retune to the rhythms of the natural world. I am beyond grateful.

If you missed the retreat, but would like to experience some creative play in your life too, I would love to have you join me for my next class. Try an Art Night Out to start! It is a 3-hour art experience designed to help you retune and reconnect. The next class is Friday, November 8, 2019!
