Hi friends,

It’s been a busy week, so I thought I would just share a quick look at what’s in my sketchbook the last couple of weeks.  I’ve been digitally assembling some other collections and starting in on ideas and sketches for some new collections focused on flowers and dogs.  If you’ve been on my Facebook page lately, you’ll see that I’m asking for input on your favorites in both of these categories, so be sure to chime in!  Without further ado, here’s a quick peek: Jordan Kim floral sketch grape hyacinths tulips

Often, I like to start out by sketching some really simplistic shapes.  Of course, it’s not long before I start playing with ideas in my head on how I could add color, messages, and other effects into the final collage.

And here are a few of the doggie sketches I am starting on this week.  A golden retriever and a lab puppy.  I can tell this is going to be a fun one to work on…
