Jordan Kim in the studio with her little man

On abundance, faith and asking

Happy Wednesday, friends. Just a quick post this week to say hello and share a little about what's been inspiring me these days...

I've talked a lot on this blog about being inspired by the messages from the universe - when I'm tuned in enough to receive them. Lately, I've been trying to take my word of the year to heart and making more space for self care, slowing down, listening, and enjoying the little everyday {extra}ordinary moments all around me. Boy does it make a big difference. I encourage you to try it yourself. I'm here to tell you - Your world can go from scarcity to abundance in no time when you take a moment to notice all the blessings staring you in the face every day.

For example, I get to make art in a beautiful space and share it with this little guy (and the big guy taking this photo) everyday.

I don't know about you, but when I start to really notice the abundance in my life, I have faith that I am on the right path. I feel more at ease and my creativity flows so much more effortlessly. In fact - everything flows a lot more smoothly. It probably has something to do with giving less energy to fear and all that stuff that doesn't matter in the future and past...

I recently saw this commencement speech given by Jim Carrey and I LOVED this part: "You can spend your whole life imagining ghosts, worrying about the pathway to the future. But all there will ever be is what's happening here and the decisions we make in this moment which are based in either love or fear. So many of us choose our path out of fear disguised as practicality. What we really want seems impossibly out of reach and ridiculous to expect, so we never dare to ask the universe for it. I'm saying... you can ask the universe for it."

Sometimes you just need to ask. And then have faith.

Wishing you an abundant week my friends. xo
