2018 - A Year Devoted to Intuition

Happy New Year! Here we are... 2018. Holy moly. What can I say? I've been taking some time to reflect on all that 2017 brought about - unexpected inspiration, staying open, and quite literally rising from the ashes. And I am feeling hopeful in a new way about what we'll be able to bring forward during the year ahead I have a tradition of choosing a word of the year for many years now ("Trust" for 2012, "Alive" for 2013, "Fly" for 2014, "Space" for 2015, "Thrive" in 2016, "Awakening" for 2017). Some years it feels like the whole year is a journey into the word. And 2017 certainly was one of those years. I feel I am starting 2018 with a newfound awake-ness - the kind that once you see, you cannot unsee. I am still very much inspired by similar words like: open, intuition, transformation, authenticity, deliberate, conscious, intentional, renaissance, consistency, participate, abundance, and rebirth. And I am still feeling a call to take deliberate, conscious action and stay very very attuned to my intuition and the natural world in doing so. I also feel that we all are being called upon to live out loud - not in aggressive or "us verses them" sort of way, but more in a bravely authentic way.

I see clearly that living out loud is not only a service to yourself, but to those around you, and the collective consciousness.

And boy oh boy, do we live in a world that needs us all to step up and live in our fullest, most authentic form. Honesty and integrity are becoming some of my most valued character traits. I know this kind of living will take some serious attention - the kind of dedication, strength, and stamina that it takes to bring about a totally new way of being. So this year I have chosen a phrase as my "words" of the year. In 2018 I am setting the intention to be "devoted to intuition".

My intention is to move through 2018 with a newfound devotion to making the space to listen to and follow my intuition. This will involve a commitment to living boldly and bravely and I feel inspired to do so. Thank you so much for following along on my creative journey.
