Happy Almost New Year

Happy Almost New Year

Hard to believe it, but there are only four days left to 2016. I plan to write a post reflecting on 2016 and my intentions and dreams for 2017, but that will have to wait for another day. Today, I am writing for three reasons.
  1. I want to wish you a Happy New Year!
That's right. Happy New Year!!! But please know that this is not just any kind of "Happy New Year" message said with Auld Lang Syne playing in the background. No, this is an authentic wish from my heart to yours. While 2016 had its highlights, there were many hardships for a lot of people too. This world saw some crazy turns of events and we've yet to see how some of these events will unfold in 2017. So my sincere wish for you, my friend, is for your 2017 to bring a new level of connection -with others and the natural world. I wish for you to share and feel peace unlike you've ever experienced before - the kind of peace that comes from knowing that you are enough and not alone. I wish for you to have LOTS more time in nature in the year ahead - in whatever way you can make that happen. And I hope that at least half of that time in nature is quiet time outside - time to let nature be in you as much as you are in it. And finally, I wish that you feel inspired in 2017. I want you to get to dance with inspiration in whatever way she comes to you - to create something that was not here before you made it and put it out into this world. 2. I want to say THANK YOU! Really. I am so freakin' grateful for all the support you have provided to me this year. You have given me positive feedback, "likes", bought my art, shared my work with your friends and family, and signed up for my mailing list. You are the best tribe of people an artsy gal could ask for and you are helping me make my creative dreams a reality. For that I am forever grateful. 3. I want to let you know it's not too late to get my 2017 wall calendars! There are still a few 2017 wall calendars left if you want to snag one before they're gone. I'll do my very best to get them in the mail to you just as soon as possible so you can start using them right away!
